Joelle Arentz

Coach Joelle Arentz:

“Hi friends! My name is Joelle Arentz. I was born and raised in La Crosse. I graduated from Winona State University in 2016 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I currently work as a middle school special education teacher at La Crescent-Hokah Secondary School. Outside of work I enjoy: running, hiking with my pup Nala, photography, cooking vegan meals, and just being outside. I started really running in May of 2015 and trained with a friend for the Maple Leaf half. I thought I would only run one but I was urged to check out this running group called Grand Bluff Training, and that’s when everything changed. I joined the training group for the Maple Leaf half of 2016 and have been running with GBT ever since. This training group has brought me so many lifelong friends and memories. Since 2015, I have run 10 half marathons, a 339 mile relay and 2 full marathons. I am SO excited to be part of the coaching team because running (& Grand Bluff Training) changed my life, and I just know it can do the same for so many others. Welcome to the GBT family!”
